Activities
The main focus of the Goosewing Rendezvous Glamping is to enjoy nature, the wilderness and reconnecting with family and friends in a unique setting. This is not the same as our resort ranch experience.
You will enjoy a vast amount of guided horseback riding and equine adventures, spinner and fly fishing in both trout ponds, rivers, streams and lakes, you can take a refreshing dip in one of the mountain waters, or tube down the Gros Ventre River.
Hiking is abundant with varied difficulty. The majority of these activities are self-guided, horseback riding is the only guided activity. While with us you will experience true Western Hospitality, learn the cowboy way of life, help us with our environmental stewardship, and connect with nature. We encourage our glampers to engage in helping around the rendezvous site with horses, meal prep, all while learning about the Western lifestyle.
Evenings consist of campfire songs and stories, star gazing, s’more roasting, and relaxing while reflecting on the day’s activities. Activities available also may include archery, hatchet throwing, knife throwing, roping (not on horseback), and wildlife spotting.
Again, this is NOT the same activity schedule and program as the Goosewing Ranch. Once at the glamping site there isn’t access available to the ranch nor are ranch activities and amenities available to glampers. All are welcome from singles, groups, couples, friends and FAMILIES. We suggest that glampers be healthy and in good physical health so you can enjoy the remote experience. Glampers are never bored.
Horseback Riding
Our location offers some of the best horseback riding terrain in the country. With vast wilderness areas and expansive National Forest trails, there is something for everyone. Horseback trails are guided by one of our experienced wranglers. Expect to enjoy full days out on the trail exploring the backcountry, searching for tracks and wildlife, learning about local history, flora and fauna, and just enjoying nature atop a majestic horse. Trail rides vary in difficulty and length. Our wranglers will discuss with you the options for the next day around your Cowboy dinner.
UTVs
Each wagon will have access to a Polaris Ranger UTV. This is great for exploring the area, finding fishing holes, searching for wildlife or just going for a cruise. Ranger fuel is included in your package.
